BullsEye Dog Rescue is a
Proud Sponsor of The Responsi-Bull Project

Make it your mission to be a
Responsi-Bull Pit Bull Owner!
A three part program, The Responsi-Bull Project includes FREE spay and neuter, a FREE responsible pit bull ownership workshop, and FREE obedience classes for pit bulls and their owners.
In the early 1900's, the American Pit Bull Terrier was so respected for its loyalty, intelligence and determination that the U.S. military chose an image of this iconic breed to represent our country on war posters. Today, due to irresponsible owners exploiting the very characteristics that once made pit bulls an All-American breed, they have become the most abused and misunderstood dog breed in history.
Despite their top-rated temperaments or their once respected status, pit bulls have become the breed of choice for many irresponsible people, and consequently are flooding animal shelters. An estimated 1/3 of dogs entering our shelters are pit bulls or pit bull mixes, and 90% of those dogs will not find a home.

FREE!!! Pit-Ed Responsible Pit Bull Ownership Workshop
"My "puppy" Balthazar is 5 years old. When my husband brought him home, I threatened divorce. We were not allowed to have animals at our duplex. I told him "We are hiding 5 cats, (4 are rescued strays that "found" my house), how are we supposed to hide a dog? And, these dogs eat their owners!". The landlords had us pay a nonrefundable deposit for the cats, and when they found out about the dog, advised us that we would have to move. They relented however, when they met him, and due to the fact that I was home with him 24/7 because I am on disability. Now, the husband is gone, and I have the dog! I am anxious to meet other owners, and get him into classes. I look forward to meeting you and attending the Workshop."
FREE!!! Train-a-Pit
"Thank you very much for all that you and your staff have done to help us be better parents to Bella. She is a really good dog and we want to show our friends and the public in general that even though she looks a little intimidating that she poses no more a threat to anyone than any other animal."
"Thanks again for letting us bully breed owners get together and learn some basic information and helping me also with some self-esteem to not be scared to take my bully breed for walks."
Bullseye Dog Rescue would like to congratulate the particpants in our first Responsi-bull Project!
